Last Day Dismissal

IMPORTANT clarification about dismissal time for last day of school to share with staff and families:

Students will be dismissed two hours early (12:50) on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 5th.

Kindergarten Registration

As the district prepares to launch the start of kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year, we’re asking for your help in spreading the word to your families and others in the community. Please consider posting a message to your school marquees that kindergarten registration begins March 4 and share with your families the following information:

April 8 through April 22: Parents can request another school besides their child’s zoned school.

June 6: The district is urging parents to register their children for the 2013-14 school year by this date. For complete details about kindergarten registration, go to

Opening and Closing Times:

Pinellas School Board members approved school opening and closing times for the 2013-14 academic year at the Feb. 12 School Board meeting. Beginning in August, the student day at our school will begin at 8:35 a.m. and end at 2:35 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please note that “early release Wednesdays” have been eliminated, a decision that was finalized in September when the School Board approved a contract with the Pinellas Classroom Teachers Association.
